The Town of Cooleemee currently has a vacancy on our Board of Commissioners, and we are looking for a Cooleemee resident who is interested in serving our community. If you have ever thought about getting involved and helping make decisions that affect the future of our town, this is a great opportunity to step forward.
We will be accepting letters of interest for two weeks, from September 16 through September 30.
If you are interested, please submit a letter of interest to Town Hall or you can email it to jsmith@cooleemee.org. This term will run until December of 2027 when the slot will be filled again in the next election cycle. I encourage anyone who cares about Cooleemee and wants to make a difference to consider putting their name forward. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at (336) 250-1135.
Thank you,
Jeff Smith
