We continue to make great progress on the new Cooleemee Community Center, and we are excited to see the building taking shape as we move closer to completion.
Here are some of the latest updates:
- Brickwork on the building is now complete.
- Grading for the handicap-accessible parking area is complete.
- Interior painting has been completed.
- Brickwork on the pillars at the side exits is complete.
- HVAC installation continues throughout the building.
- The kitchen cabinets have been delivered for installation.
- Framework for the drop ceilings is now underway.
Library Progress
We are also making progress on the library. The front desk and computer stations have been received from the cabinet maker, and installation work will begin soon.
We have also received the interior window molding, with installation scheduled to begin next week.
It is exciting to see all of these pieces coming together. What was once a plan on paper is quickly becoming a facility that will serve the people of Cooleemee for many years to come.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as construction continues. We look forward to sharing more updates as we move closer to opening the doors!
