This service is sponsored by the Town of Cooleemee and is applicable only to houses and residents within the Town limits. If you are handicapped or a senior citizen who needs help with getting items out to the curb… or if you need help with items that need to be picked up on your street’s assigned day… or if you have any questions about qualifying for this Town service, please call Town Hall at 284-2141, prior to your street’s assigned pickup day.
Your items will be picked up ONLY on your street’s assigned pickup day.
In order for your items to be picked up, please place them at the curbside in front of your house by 8:00am on the date assigned for pickup. Items can be placed at the curbside several days prior to your street’s assigned pickup day, but no earlier than Oct 15th. The Town WILL NOT be responsible for picking up any items after your street’s assigned pickup day has passed.
The following will NOT be picked up: GARBAGE; BRUSH or LIMBS; YARD WASTE (grass clippings or leaves); PAINT or PAINT CANS; TOXINS or HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS AND NO T.V.s OR COMPUTERS AND COMPUTER ACCESSORIES.

NOTE: The Town has a signed agreement with a contractor authorizing him to do this work on behalf of the Town. ANY and ALL items (including metal objects or scrap metal) placed at curbside for pickup, either before or on the above dates, will be picked up ONLY by this contractor. We ask our citizens allow only the person CONTRACTED by the Town be allowed to pickup. This will help keep the cost down, so we can continue to provide this service.
